Art and writing are two ways that I have healed and expressed, and are ways that we can all journey into the underworld of the unconscious and heal. Art can also be a form of collective shadow work and collective medicine since we are all tapped into the collective unconscious. I bring this into my work with my clients as appropriate.

Everything here is a work in progress, and I consider any art that I am currently sharing online to be a practice in ‘learning in public’. Check out Women’s Journey to Empowerment in the 21st Century: A Transnational Feminist Analysis of Women’s Lives in Modern Times, an Oxford University Press textbook to which I contributed a chapter. “Heal Your Witch Wound contains the marvelous intimation that books are not just objects in space but events in time – that books happen, which I really dig.”

-JF Martel, Canadian Writer, Filmmaker and Podcaster

“Annalise calls us into rallying around the resurrection of the feminine soul, and the healing of the feminine wound in a poetic, sensual swirl of literary delights while revealing a different side of feminism, a quiet, sacred remembrance waiting within us all.”

– Alexandra Roxo, Author of “F*ck Like a Goddess: Heal Yourself. Reclaim Your Voice. Stand in Your Power.
