Therapy for Groups and Couples
Group Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
I'm going to come right out and say it: I'm in love with my group KAP model and I am so honored to provide it.
This is an excellent option for anyone for whom one-on-one KAP with me would not be financially accessible. At $60 per one-hour preparation or integration session, and $120 per three-hour dosing session, this cutting edge, powerful therapy is now available to a broader range of people who would benefit from it tremendously.
My groups are intimate, with no more than four participants per cohort. And choice is emphasized every step of the way, so participants may choose to experience only one or two dosing sessions, or they may choose to continue on into the next cohort for up to 4-6 more dosing sessions. (Please see the Rates & Insurance page for more information about pricing.)
At any point, if a participant would prefer to transition into 1:1 integration, they have the option to continue with 1:1 integration with me, or referrals will be provided to more accessible 1:1 integration if 1:1 therapy with me is not financially accessible.
SO, if you’ve been feeling hopeless or alone lately, or struggling with a problem in your life that feels unsurmountable, group KAP could powerfully help you improve your everyday life.
Group therapy helps you find a sense of community with others who are going through similar things as you while giving you access to valuable therapy that can truly help you feel better.
So if any of these sound like you…
You keep worrying about the same problem over and over
You wish you could trust someone with your secret struggle
You want to stop feeling so alone in what you’re going through
You’re interested in therapy, but want to try something lower pressure than individual therapy
You wish you felt more understood by others
You’re looking for expert help improving your life
...Then group therapy in the form of a KAP group could be right for you.
Group therapy’s effectiveness lies in its ability to help you find connections with other people and their experiences. Plus, the group KAP model is more in keeping with the millennia-old indigenous medicine systems that inform them, which tended to be community-based healing systems. These therapist-guided sessions will help you learn more about yourself and how to improve the way you feel while feeling support from others who understand your experience.
If you’re looking for help in improving your everyday life - or for a more community-oriented therapy experience - you would be a great fit for our group therapy services. Please reach out to me today for an assessment for group therapy or to schedule your first appointment.
