Dream Tending

"The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens to that primeval cosmic night that was soul long before there was conscious ego and will be soul far beyond what a conscious ego could ever reach."
― Carl Jung

Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung called dreams the "royal road to the unconscious," and I consider them to be probably the most gentle, natural method for getting beyond "talk therapy" and into the deeper space of the unconscious, the soul, and the deeper transformations that are trying to happen through you. Allowing a recent dream to guide a session can be surprisingly revelatory. This is a great modality for people with a very strong visual channel.

I've attended dreamwork trainings at the SF Jung Institute, and an in-depth in-person training with Jungian analyst Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes. I've also deeply engaged with the work of depth psychologist Bill Plotkin, and psychoanalysts Marion Woodman and James Hillman.

I've come away from each of these experiences with a collection of dreamtending techniques and activities for communing with the unconscious and helping you get unstuck. Reach out for a free call with me to learn more.
